DESIGNING

Our designers and craftspeople work closely with our clients from the very beginning. Once we receive an initial brief, we take a collaborative approach to developing the design to best meet your precise requirements. Using advanced design technology software Solid Edge, we produce highly detailed drawings that allow you to clearly visualise and plan your project. We believe good design comes from the deepest respect and knowledge of the materials involved, and our skilled design team are able to draw upon their experience to recommend appropriate materials and finishes of the highest quality.

MAKING & FINISHING

Our knowledge of building techniques, jigs and tooling combined with our state-of-the-art machinery enables complex joinery and furniture pieces to be constructed with the greatest accuracy. We also believe that responsibility and enthusiasm are key to quality production, so we operate our unique ‘one person to one job’ policy. This means that every craftsperson is proudly responsible for producing their own piece of furniture, from working drawings through to the finished piece – guaranteeing the same level of quality control, care, and attention to detail throughout the production process.

"I have known Kaizen now for over 20 years and together we have grown to what we are today.

By working with Kaizen I feel confident in tackling the most complex projects. Their experience with any material and finish allows me to push the boundaries and come up with completely unique proposals that set our interiors apart from other companies. The complete journey from design intent through to development and finished installation is always fun, with people who I feel comfortable with and who have such passion for what they do. Choosing Kaizen is choosing a partnership whereby I can easily visit their workshop, find inspiration from work in progress and access their vast library of samples. I'm even able to decide on a unique paint effect by experimenting with their bespoke spray department, where nothing is ever too much trouble.

This all has allowed us jointly to do the most amazing jobs over the many years that we have worked together – long may it continue!"

KATE EARLE, TODHUNTER EARLE INTERIORS

"Kaizen is sensational from start to finish. The visual impact and the quality of the end product is second-to-none, whether it's bookshelves, cabinets, desks, tables or sofas. The design is always superb so the product looks beautiful. Kaizen always focuses on the beauty of the design, while being sensitive to the needs of the client and the functionality of the product. Equally important to Kaizen is the quality of the product, and paying attention to the smallest of details. The materials used are always of the highest calibre so that the feel and quality of the product is as impressive as the visual effect and impact. And the care and precision of the designs (with numerous detailed drawings) is quite outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, and attention is always paid to the client's concerns and sometimes silly foibles with the utmost sensitivity and courtesy. Speaking as a client, they are a joy to work with. Kaizen is not cheap but, given the quality and attention to detail, they are terrific value."

ANDREW GREEN QC, CLIENT

“Everyone working on the project has been a vital part of realising that dream. But the work that you at Kaizen have done has contributed especially to making it a beautiful, elegant, sensual and yet practical home. Not only is your work gorgeous, but everything has been done to such a high standard. We’ve particularly noticed and appreciated how much you’ve cared about the quality and finish, and we also know how much you’ve gone out of your way to achieve what we wanted and to see us pleased with the result.“
